ABSTRACT

During the COVID-19 pandemic, cloud computing & storage emerged as a viable alternative to traditional storage systems. Almost all firms are transitioning from traditional modes of operation to online modes of operation. The vast majority of businesses have the long-term goal of moving all or a significant part of their operations to an online (Work-from-Home) format. There are various advantages to cloud computing and storage, including cost savings, mobility, platform independence, accessibility, and elasticity. However, security is the primary impediment to adopting cloud storage services, particularly cloud retrieving. To address the issue of cloud storage security, this research study has proposed a method for cloud storage data security. The suggested strategy makes use of integrated cryptographic techniques to monitor, secure user as well as data that is kept in the cloud storage systems. The method that has been suggested constantly checks user data by performing the sequence of securities. The performance of proposed security is measured by downloading and uploading data iteratively and analyzed by computing time taken for cloud operations. Thus, the proposed strategy not only secures data but also increases user confidence in cloud-based storage services. The proposed approach can be further researched for dynamic data and variable data sizes. © 2022 IEEE.

ABSTRACT

Telemonitoring has been useful during the COVID19 pandemic, to monitor patients avoiding risk of infection, and patients living in remote areas. Monitoring of SpO2 has been a fundamental parameter to preserve health and go to hospitals only in emergencies. This research develops a prototype of pulse oximetry for telemonitoring using an open-source platform and low-cost elements, the Atmega328 microcontroller and MAX30102 sensor to measure the reflection of light in the blood were used. Our device displays the SpO2 and HR on a screen and through an ESP8266 WiFi module sends the data automatically to a free cloud platform “ThingSpeak”, where it is stored, visualized, or can be exported for analysis in other software. A comparison with a commercial clinical grade device was performed and Bland-Altman charts and ICC to verify the concordance between both. The results are ICC of 0.97 and 0.73 corresponding ±2 BPM and ±3% SpO2 have been obtained. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

ABSTRACT

An IoT-based system for monitoring the quality of the air within a building, which includes a "Smart-Air"air quality sensor on a web server. IoT and cloud storage are used to evaluate the quality of the air at any time and from any place. Smart-Air is a product of the Internet of Things (IoT), a device that uses LTE to broadcast real-time data on air quality to a web server. Today, air pollution is a leading cause of preventable mortality and disease across the world. Pollution has become a major concern all around the globe. The discharge of chemicals or unfriendly compounds has a devastating impact on human, animal, and plant life. This is referred to as pollution. Many studies have been conducted on different air purification techniques because of this. Air purifiers that utilize HEPA filters, activated carbon, and UV light are discussed in this paper. The water and chemicals that an air purifier sprays into the air will spread out contaminants. © 2022 IEEE.

ABSTRACT

This research document evidences the design and implementation of an entry control system with body temperature taking and disinfection with information registration and cloud storage for the Health Center - San Andres, the work is oriented to control the entry to the health center for both medical staff who meet their workday and users who receive medical care, as this becomes a bridge of contagion when having physical contact between patient and doctor, in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19. © 2022 IEEE Computer Society. ABSTRACT

In this paper we propose an intelligent chatbot that helps tackle the critical COVID-19 situation in India, which is a detrimental issue affecting the population of the country. Patients wait in long queues outside hospitals to obtain critical resources such as beds but return back in vain due to unavailability. The Covisstance Chatbot that we propose helps users locate available beds and ventilators in all hospitals at the user's location, without the need for them to travel. The proposed virtual assistant is implemented integrating several serverless services from Microsoft Power Virtual Agent, Power Automate flows to define actions, Microsoft Lists as a test database and Microsoft's Language Understanding Artificial Intelligence service (LUIS) that performs language and semantic analysis of user's queries. Experimental results show that the proposed chatbot successfully responds to all users' queries related to hospital information about beds and oxygen cylinders availability. © 2021 Association for Computing Machinery.
